A dog’s angry barking and subsequent shock by a Seattle City Light pole led to a potentially life-saving discovery.

Inspectors found the pole was not installed properly and anyone who touched the metal could have been hit with 90 volts.
Neighbors Carolyn and Alex said they were shocked to learn that the light pole down the street from their home, the same pole their dog Sir Henry visits daily, was emitting stray voltage, feet away from passing traffic.
